How to create an advanced workout plan

When it comes to burning fat or building a great physique, it's not just about lifting heavy weights and doing cardio exercises. A lot of variables affect the end-results, including the order in which you complete the exercises.

Using TrainerFu, you can now create an advanced workout plan by clubbing exercises in a circuit or superset, so that your clients can train multiple muscle groups and do an intensive full-body workout.

Here's how you can create an advanced workout plan for your clients:

Using Supersets

A superset is when you do two or more exercises, with little or no time between them. While you can configure that by setting individual parameters for every exercise, using the prebuilt feature gives you the flexibility to differentiate exercises in the superset from normal exercises in the workout plan.

Here's how to include a superset in your workout plan:
  1. Navigate to Plan and open the day for which you wish to create a superset program.

  2. Next, tap on the button "Add Superset". A blank row would be added on the screen. Tap on "Update".

  3. In the prompt, select "Add exercises to superset", and tap on the exercises that you wish to include in the superset.

  4. Once done, tap on Update again, and select "Update # of sets | Add Note". Enter the number of sets and notes (if any) for the superset.

  5. That's it. You've successfully created a superset for your client.

Using Circuits

A circuit is when you do set of every exercise and move in a circular fashion, with little to no break in between. To include circuits in your workout plan, here's what you need to do:

  1. Navigate to Plan and open the day for which you wish to create a circuit program.

  2. Next, tap on the button "Add Circuit". A blank row named "Circuit" would be added on the screen. Tap on "Update".

  3. In the prompt, select "Add exercises to Circuit", and tap on the exercises that you wish to include in the circuit.

  4. Once done, tap on Update again, and select "Update # of sets | Add Note". Enter the number of sets and notes (if any) for the circuit.

  5. That's it. You've successfully created a circuit for your client.
